I am feeling a little reflective at the moment, so I thought I would indulge in a few blog stats and some metablogging. The last couple of weeks has, without doubt, seen the most visitors to the blog since we started over a year ago. The post titled “Global IFRS Adoption” seems to have been very popular, but the most popular one for the last year has been “Basel II – Best Practice in Stress Testing”. Top 10 and some further info is below.

We have had a total of nearly 23,000 page views since January last year and the geographic spread, at least since we first started tracking this in January this year, has been very strong – focussed, as you would expect, in Australia, but with readers from just about everywhere (see the Clustrmap below).

Some of the countries have been a surprise – Mauritius (I think it is) is a notable hotspot in the Indian Ocean – and I have also been glad to see some of the places I have lived and worked in have been reading too. London is a notably big spot, Frankfurt not far behind and Vancouver (or is it Seattle?), along with Hawaii, and some more recent client locations in South Korea and Jakarta. (Barangkali nanti saya kembali ke Jakarta. Suka sekali.)

Meanwhile, in my day job, I am looking forward to attending the World Islamic Funds Conference at the end of next month. Might see you there. It should be a fruitful source of posts.
